1. If possible, join the Zoom meeting using the Zoom application (clicking the link instead of dialing in). This prevents you from getting an “all circuits are busy” message when you try to dial in via phone. It also provides a better audio connection than dialing in.
2. Learn how to use the mute function on your phone. This is not the same as silencing your phone’s ringer or placing it on vibrate. The mute function silences the microphone on your phone. If you’re not speaking, it is best to keep your phone on mute during Zoom meetings. This prevents background noise (pages turning, dogs barking, etc.) from interfering with others’ enjoyment.
3. If you choose to join the call using video, please be before the Lord with regard to your appearance and that of your environment. Your dress and the background setting of the room that you’re in should maintain the sanctity of this virtual environment.
If you have questions, please let one of the brothers know.
